In 2019, Breda University of applied sciences (BUas) signed the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Charter, committing themselves to working towards the goal of a sustainable, just, and inclusive society. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations are an urgent call for action – a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. BUas believes that they hold a responsibility to students and to wider society to educate future professionals who are ready to tackle global, social, economic, and environmental challenges. During this gathering, we will explore how the SDGs are interconnected and interdependent, and then we will look at three different projects within BUas to explore the topic in a more concrete context.
Join us on March 16th at 14:00 – 17:00 PM and let’s work towards a shared understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals and start a process of change towards a sustainable, just, and inclusive society!
