Dit stadspark werd in 1921 speciaal ontworpen om te flaneren langs de gazons met uitzicht op het water. Rustig wandelen, spelen in het gras, picknicken aan de vijver … allemaal dingen die ons oprecht gelukkig kunnen maken. Gebogen en rechte paden brengen je langs inspirerende kunstwerken, de oevers van de Dommel, een volière en zeldzame bomen. Elk seizoen kleurt anders. In de aanwezige sterrenwacht kun je ’s avonds naar de sterren kijken. Hier is ruimte om te (dag)dromen, veilig te spelen of een goed gesprek.

This city park was specially designed in 1921 to allow people to stroll along the lawns while overlooking the water. Leisurely walks, playing on the meadow, picnics at the pond … these are all things that can make us truly happy. Straight and winding paths take you along inspiring works of art, the shores of the Dommel and rare trees such as the black birch and the white maple. Every season brings new and different colors. In the present observatory you can look at the stars here. Think of picknicking, playing, beech, oak and willow trees, the water, sitting on a bench. Jogging, the aviary and room to breathe.
